Figures was created in October 2020 by Virgile, who was fed up of not having relevant compensation data for the start-up market in France, which led to endless discussions, negotiations, and therefore tons of internal inequality. Joined by Bastien quickly after, they first tackled this issue by creating the first compensation benchmark product for start-ups & scale-ups in 6 European countries. With 600+ clients as of today, we can safely say that we found our Product-Market Fit.

In your role as Account Manager (Germany), you will manage, grow, and nurture a portfolio of customers (especially startups and scaleups) based in the DACH region by being their privileged point of contact and ensuring their satisfaction. Your objective is to deliver the best customer experience possible in order to reduce churn and maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities. You are passionate about customer relationships, driven by supporting people, always finding solutions to problems. You are not afraid of tough negotiations while being patient and resilient.

  • Onboarding new customers in coordination with the CSM team
  • Developing trustworthy relationships within your client portfolio
    • by advising customers on the best use of our product
    • by preparing and conducting meetings with clients
    • by sharing successful use-case
    • by anticipating and preventing potential dissatisfaction in order to reduce churn
    • by identifying needs and always proposing solutions that will bring more value to customers
  • Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities through upsells and cross-sells
  • Enhancing Figures products by sharing customers feedbacks in order to contribute to product developments and contributing to process improvements for the team’s collective success

🔐 Key Requirements

  • Must-haves
    • You ideally have 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales environment
    • You are fluent in German (C2) and English (C1) which is our working language
    • You like to find solutions and are able to use your sense of initiative to solve a customer problem
  • Additional Requirements
    • You quickly understand client needs
    • You are organized, rigorous and responsive
    • You are highly motivated to learn, develop your sales skills and join a fast-growing start-up
    • An experience working with HR personas
    • A prior experience in SaaS
