Brief profile of the position

We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an analytical person with great management skills joining a great and highly motivated team in a beautiful area close to Hamburg.

Core Tasks

  • Assumption of the role as Scrum Master / Agile Coach in the group and cross-organizational support of the agile project teams as a lateral manager
  • Shared responsibility for planning and executing sprints
  • Promotion and continuous development of all team members in their personal and agile way of working
  • Management of cross-interface large-scale projects according to lean principles; Examples: Digitization of business processes, software implementation, process optimization, business development, etc.
  • Conducting situation analyses, market research and solution evaluations to support decision-making for IT, PMO and management
  • Coordination of internal stakeholders and external partners, from requirements gathering to go-live
  • Interface between technical implementation and key users in the department
  • Creation of user training and training of new processes in the departments
  • Strengthening of the agile mindset as a "servant leader" through coaching & mentoring, and moderation and active support of the transformation process to increase self-organization, ownership & accountability
  • Ownership of agile methods within our organization and optimization of team productivity through their continuous development
  • Support of project controlling with prioritization taking into account corporate strategy, goals and KPIs as well as cost-benefit aspects
  • Taking on the role of OKR champion and supporting the international implementation of the OKR framework
  • Definition, documentation and implementation of new business processes in cooperation with the QMS & PMO team

Key Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies with an information technology, technical or business background (e.g. industrial engineering, business informatics)
  • Excellent academic performance and strong analytical skills and basic computer science skillsProfessional experience (from project management or management consulting) as well as practical knowledge of project management in environments such as Scrum or Kanban Certifications as Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach (at least 1 year old) an advantageSoftware knowledge in JIRA, Confluence, MS-Teams, etc. is an advantage
  • Agile mindset paired with hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Fast acquisition of complex facts and independent and structured way of workingHigh level of organizational skills, initiative, teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent German and English communication skills
