Short Role Description

In your role as Backend Developer, you will …

Core Tasks

• Further development of the backend: implementation of new endpoints, structuring of new data types, minimisation of data scraping vulnerabilities
• Migration from SQL to Google Datastore
• Restructuring of the backend software in different services for increased scalability

Key Requirements

Must haves:

• 3-5 years of experience as a backend developer
• Competent handling of Java, Java Servlets, MySQL, IntelliJ, Google Cloud Platform GCP

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Google App Engine, Google Datastore or other NoSQL database
• Experience with scalable backend systems/high user numbers
