Role Description
We are looking for a full-time, unlimited-term DevOps Engineer VMware Vsphere to start as soon as possible. With us you can choose whether you want to work completely remote, hybrid or on site.
Major Tasks:
- You are responsible for the operation and further development of our dedicated private cloud solutions and therefore driving the strategic orientation
- You will administer our VMware vSphere environments
- You will take care of the transformation of our existing customers into our current cloud products
- In day-to-day work, you are responsible for life cycle management and, together with our agile cross-functional squads
- You will further develop the platforms and automate their processes
- By automating our processes for the environments mentioned, you create creative, professional and technical added value and also have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with new technologies and achieve the best technical results with their implementation
- All in all, you will take an active part in our exciting digital transformation and you will be part of our success story
Must-haves:
- Completed vocational training in the IT sector or with several years of relevant professional experience
- In-depth experience in the operation and further development of VMware vSphere
- Initial knowledge of the automation of standard processes
- A preference for independent and responsible work
- Willingness for personal development in various technological areas and to participate in on-call service
- Good knowlege of English
Nice to have:
- Good knowlege of German
- Basic knowledge of VMware Cloud Director
- Basic knowledge of Gitlab CI, Ansible and Terraform
