Brief profile of the position

We are looking for you to build our whole security team from scratch. In this role you will have the opportunity to be the bridge between corporate management, IT Users, and IT departments, and all the different stakeholders. This is core position that will have great responsibilty, freedom to innovate and create.

Core tasks

• Conduct IT vulnerability analyses, risk assessment of security information incidents, developing internal security methods and standards
• Create security concepts, perform audits, conduct organisation wide intro of security management systems according to BSI IT basic protection (200-1,200-2) or ISO 27001
• Optimise and implement authorization and access management
• Security engineering: app security, cloud security, infrastructure security; Security operations: threat hunting, security incident response; threat management: pen testing
• Physical and personnel security
• Developing training for new employees that join your team

Key Requirements

Must haves:

• Degree in Information Technology (IT), Information Security or a related field
• Significant and multi-year professional experience in hands-on cyber security fields e.g.: cyber risk management, security consultant, security architecture, SOC/CSIRT, incident management, audit/assessment, (cloud) security solutions.
• experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong ability to analyze and evaluate IT / OT processes and potential impact on operations.
• In-depth knowledge of IT security systems, standards and procedures (e.g. ISO 27000, NIST).
• Fluent business English (C1) and fluent German (C2) - other languages would be an asset.
