BlueVoyant is seeking a highly experienced Third-Party Cyber Risk Sales Engineer with deep experience selling managed service offerings to enterprise organisations. In this role you will evangelize BlueVoyant’s 3PR Cyber Security solution to prospective customers and partners. Your thorough understanding of Vendor Risk Management practices and the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology landscape supporting these practices, as well as a broad risk and compliance management understanding is essential to this role.
Communication skills allowing you to effectively articulate the value of BlueVoyant solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, as you will be speaking to a wide range of personas - from cyber specialists to C-suite risk and security officers. Expertise in discovering customer requirements, aligning enterprise solutions to address those challenges, and demonstrating product capabilities is essential to success in this role.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact position within the BlueVoyant sales team and will report to the Director of Risk Products, Sales Engineering.
Our 3rd Park Risk business specializes in delivering cutting edge vendor and supply chain risk analysis, reporting, and response services utilizing a proprietary technology platform, so the ability to communicate both the value of our platform as well as the underlying technology is essential.
Core Tasks
Actively participate in the sales process and work closely with the direct and channel sales teams
Discover and understand customer requirements and align our solutions to those requirements
Present BlueVoyant business functions, value and competitive differences
Provide service and product demonstrations to prospective customers
Lead RFP responses in coordination with Product and Engineering teams
Lead Proof of Concept evaluations
Provide feedback to Product Management on product enhancements
Be the technical point of contact for channel partners within the region
Responsible for providing feedback from prospects and customers to refine services and products.
Maintain a deep technical skillset through self-study and provided trainings.
Qualifications
At least 5 years sales experience in a GRC-related field, with a preference of Vendor Risk Management focus, including an understanding of typical VRM assessment practices such as due diligence assessments, SIG/SOC Questionnaires.
German reading, writing and speaking skills are required for this role.
Familiarity with IT Risk Frameworks, such as NIST, ISO and CMMC.
Strong understanding of cyber security threat landscape, including current cyber-attack strategies and common defense tactics (e.g., 0 trust, MFA, firewalls, security devices)
Experience leading business discussions with C-suite business leaders in different industries, including Finance, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Ability to lead RFI and RFP responses
Provide product and service demonstrations.
Ability to fully scope the client environment and provide a detailed quote.
Work with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to identify and resolve potential inadequacies in the products.
