Brief profile of the position

Core tasks

• Development of new features and functions for our smartphone app in Flutter for iOS and Android
• Implementation of backend services and cloud services on Firebase (Firestore) and GCP
• Design, development and implementation of databases, APIs and microservices
• Collaboration with designers and other developers to ensure consistent implementation of design specifications
• Contribute to the architecture and improve performance of application
• Ensure code quality and adherence to development standards and guidelines
• Lay the foundation for a larger software development department with outlook to build your own team in the future

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field or comparable work experience
• At least 5 years of software development experience and at least 3 years of Google Flutter experience
• Great skills in building applications using Firebase, cloud services and REST APIs
• Experience in implementing backend services and databases
• Experience in developing clean architecture and test-driven development
• Very good knowledge of Git and agile development methods
• Being a teamplayer at heart with the ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment
• Very good communication skills in German and English
